I guess it’s time to update the blog since my last post topic was Christmas! February has been a busy month for us. We enjoyed Master Follies at LCU a few weekends ago. It was great to catch up with old friends and support LCU. We had such a fun weekend! We took Chad and Lesley to the show with us. They were first time Master Follies goers. We had a lot of fun with them- but then again, it’s always a treat when we hang out with them. Chad was very impressed with the performance, as you can tell by the below picture.
Wow, Talin looks like quite the devil!! I didn’t take any pictures of the shows, sorry! They were good and you can see them on youtube if you are interested.
I also thought I would throw in a few pictures of our Community Group. We have such a neat group of friends who meet in homes every Sunday night. We eat, talk about God, and pray for each other. It has been such a blessing to be around these people every week. Talin only gets to enjoy this group for a few more weeks before he leaves to go to Burleson for the rest of the semester. (Boo!!!!)
Here we are all sitting around talking after our “bible talk”. We seem to stay later and later every week!
I have to throw in the pictures of the cutest babies from the Montandon/Sheets Group… Colson is eating his hand! That’s all he seems to do lately! Isn’t he huge???
Abbye is also getting so big- and so fun with her smiling and laughing and talking!
I figure I better put some pictures of friend’s children on here so there is something worth looking at. Someday we might have children of our own to post about!! But not anytime soon, and NO this is not an announcement, Crossroads class!! Hold outs unite!!
This past weekend, we had a quaint Valentine’s Day celebration involving Talin working- doing massages to make some extra money, I went to the grocery store, did laundry, and cooked Talin’s favorite dinner. We rented “Fireproof” and watched it at home. That movie was REALLY GOOD. You must get past the bad acting at the beginning, but the story is powerful- and all of you should sit down with your spouse and watch that movie soon!
That’s pretty much all for now. Talin starts his 8 week clinical in Burleson on March 15th, so think of me! It’s really going to stink being apart, but I guess it is a necessary evil. He’ll probably survive just fine- and get to have fun with Mom, Dad and Nicole. Koby and Lindsey have agreed to babysit me, and many other friends have offered to hang out with me so I think we will be okay. But, think of us anyway!
