“A meal planning resource for Busy Moms and Frugal Family Cooks”

I wanted to let you in on a great blessing that we stumbled upon recently. Talin was listening to the radio, and he heard a commercial for “E-Mealz”. So, we checked it out and signed up!

We started making weekly menus in the Spring when we started the Financial Peace Class with Dave Ramsey. It just made life easier because we would sit down on Saturdays and plan what we would eat for dinner every day the coming week, and that allowed us to only have to go grocery shopping ONCE a week instead of everyday, which is what I used to do. Well, that was all well and good until I ran out of ideas of what to cook, and got tired of looking through my cookbooks- it was becoming a chore! Last week we checked out E-Mealz, and we are thoroughly impressed. Every Friday they post a Menu for the week. They are all kid-tested, Mom approved meals that are quick, easy and delicious. So, they provide you with a Menu for the week, with easy to read instructions on how to make everything, and on top of that, they give you a grocery list for all the groceries you will need for the whole week, plus estimated cost!!!!!! You can choose your grocery store and everything! You can also choose a plan for 2 people, families, low-fat, low-carb, there are several different options. And the grocery list is laid out by section… so it makes shopping so much easier and organized!

It costs $1.25 a week to be a member, and I am telling you that this has been the greatest thing for us. We are trying new recipes, and I don’t have to stress over what to cook every night! And I can vouch that we have been doing this for a week and every single recipe has been really good! We’ve had Lasagna, Summer Taco Salad, Creamy Crockpot Chicken, Lemon Tilapia, and Easy Warehouse Soup. We’ve even had Zucchini… and that’s good for us because I have trouble thinking about making veggies outside potatoes, green beans, salad, etc.

We paid $15 to receive weekly menus for 3 months. You should really go check it out! The website is:

Let me know if you have any questions! And if you sign up, tell them I recommended you- because I think I can win a free subscription or something J
