I found out I like summer too much. I think I always knew that, but I am really not ready to wake up early, have responsibility, not go to the pool, etc. Work stinks. And don’t say being a teacher isn’t a real job….you’re just jealous that you didn’t think of it first! J
While I am trying to get my booty in gear, I thought I would share some pics from our family gathering last weekend. “The cousins” were moving back in town for LCU, so we had family in town for that, and we all got together for Family Olympics. Actually, it was just Family Volleyball. We had a blast, and we played until it was way too dark and people were getting hit in the head because they couldn’t see… but we were just having too much fun!
And here is when we hit the ball over the fence… only happened about 15 times!
And Jacob and I making sure Talin didn’t get eaten by the neighbor dog…
Well, that wasn’t all that interesting… except my shoes have really good reflectors on them!
Only 2 more days until D-Day. Monday we start. If you have never taught a grade where the students have NEVER been to school before, that equals YIKES for the first 6 weeks or so. Think of me and Mrs. G (my teacher’s aide) as we enter the battle ground. (Poppy, I hope you appreciated that correct grammar!) I will write more soon, and try to get Talin to as well.
