I am happy to let you know that I finished my 1st clinical rotation last Friday the 25th. We left Burleson last Wednesday and made it back home in one piece. It has been so good to be back and get to see friends that we missed, and at the same time we were sad to go and miss seeing all of Amanda’s family often.
I have determined that I chose the right profession for my life, which is a good thing since I have already spent 5 years of college pursuing this career. It was great to get to meet lots of great people and see many interesting patients during my 8 weeks at Huguley Hospital. I really don’t have all that much to say other than I am so glad that I get a nice break to get prepared for more classes this fall. I have to start back the 25th of August, which I am sure will come too soon for my liking, but that’s life right?
Davy is adjusting back to his big back yard, and so far has not attempted to escape. He really misses all the shade that he had with the trees in Carter and Susan’s back yard and all the green grass to run in. Our small trees in the back yard don’t give very much shade yet.
Well, I am off to work on projects around the house, but I am sure that Amanda will have more details on our life in the near future, along with some pictures that we took this summer.
